I struggle, I’m a tiny turtle, on my own Hatched from my shell – I am alone. Mother long gone out to sea Who is there to take care of me? I struggle, I’m a tiny turtle, through the sand I wiggle onwards over sandy land. Soaring birds attacking me I must find my way – to sanctuary. I struggle, I’m a tiny turtle, in the sea My flippers move now – instinctively. Deeper now – I’m feeling free Here’s my home where I’m meant to be! I’ll struggle, I’m a tiny turtle, I’ll survive Avoid those nets – to stay alive. On my guard, alert each day Far from predators – I stay away! I’ll struggle, I’m a tiny turtle, I will grow Following currents – anywhere they flow. Jellyfish eat – one by one In blue oceans – warmed by the sun. In blue oceans – warmed by the sun. In blue oceans – warmed by the sun. In blue oceans – warmed by the sun. |
