CAT CANDLES

These may be available in several colors, but by far the most popular one used is the Black Cat. While the black cat image has long been considered a bad luck sign, the burning of such a candle in the prescribed manner is intended to reverse the bad luck for good. To intensify the force of the candle, the cat can be anointed with any of the "lucky" oils

for a money ritual

anoint the cat with Money Drawing or Wealthy Way Oil, and write the amount of money needed on a piece of parchment which is placed beneath the candle. Light the Cat Candle and burn for seven minutes the first night, eleven minutes the second night, then seven again on the third night, eleven on the fourth, etc. Alternate each evening the burning for seven or eleven minutes until enough good luck or money has been received.

CROSS CANDLES

Often called Crucifix Candles, these are used as altar candles, usually in pairs, one being placed at each end of the altar at the corner farthest away from the petitioner. These serve to uplift one's consciousness, cleanse the atmosphere, and attract those spirits which will be most helpful to the purpose at hand. There are specific colors to be burned on each day of the week, and when one's sole aim is a general well-being for their person and home, it is beneficial to have all seven on hand, lighting the appropriate one for a few
minutes at the beginning of each day. In specific rituals for other purposes, chose the color which will add to the vibrations.

SEVEN-KNOB CANDLES

These are often called "wishing" candles. An entire candle can be used for one wish, burning one knob each day for seven days. Write the wish on parchment, and place it beneath the candle before it is first lighted. Or the candle can be used for seven different wishes.
Write each wish on a separate strip of parchment and pin or tie it to a knob. As that knob melts away, the wish is consumed and favorable vibrations set up which work towards its fulfillment.

IMAGE CANDLES

Shaped as men or women, these unique candles can be obtained in various colors, the most popular being red(for good purposes) and black (for destructive objectives). These are included in a ritual where a person is involved, such as a man you wish to attract, or a man and woman you wish to separate. The male and female candles signify the people toward whom the spell is directed. However, if the birthdates of the people are known, and you do not wish to use the Image Candles, an Astral Candle can represent the person just as well. Write the person's name on parchment and place it beneath the candle which symbolizes that individual before the ritual is begun.

BAYBERRY CANDLES

They are legendary for bringing good fortune. They are available in various sizes, most popular being the mall votive-type. There is an ancient rhyme about the burning of Bayberry Candles "bring luck to the home and gold to the pocket."

DEVIL CANDLES

Devil Candles are candles shaped like Satan, and these candles are used for hexing and crossing others. They are available in several colors, but almost always it is the black one which is used. Burn after sundown and anoint with Crossing or Damnation Oil.

DOUBLE ACTION CANDLES

These candles are two - layer, half red and half black, or half while and hall black (or any other combination the manufacturer wishes),
They are symbolic of the good and evil forces of life, and are burned to draw the beneficial rays and disperse the harmful ones.

TRIPLE ACTION CANDLES

These candles are three-layered. Red, white, and blue (signifying love, spiritual blessing, and a peaceful home) or red, white, and green (representing love, spiritual blessings, and luck) are the two most popular ones.

REVERSIBLE ACTION CANDLES

These candles are red candles coated on the outside with a layer of black wax. These are burned to dispel evil influences and send them back from wherever they came, and to draw fortunate vibration

RED WITCH CANDLES

These candles are made usually in the shape of a hag on her broomstick, and are burned to draw a lover who has roamed away.

SKULL CANDLES

These candles are used for revenge-sending back hexes and curses to the one who sent them.

COILED SNAKE CANDLES

These candles are burned for powerful protection from all evil. They are anointed with Protection Oil and used about once a month to keep the premises free from all harm.
